The Boqueron river was pioneered for rafting/kayaking by Adventures Panama in January 1998. The river is classified as Class II, check white water rafting Panama rapids classification here . There are rapids to have fun with all the family. 

The main economic activities that surrounds the area are: gold panning, cattle farms, subsistence agriculture, forestry, and banana plantations.

Immagine a pool with a mellow current taking you gently is a raft, duckie or kayak through the forest.  Well, that is exactly what Boqueron River rafting is all about.

ITINERARY

Begins by picking up guests at Panama City around 8:00 a.m. We will arrive to the put in location an hour and a half later to start rafting around 9:30 a.m..

We should arrive to the take out zone around 12:30 p.m. and be back to the original pick up place in the city about 2:30 p.m.

Itinerary varies with actual water level.

FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE ? All mentioned transportation, rafts/kayaks and gear, guides, and lunch. Our guides are trained in white-water navigation skills, first-aid, and CPR.

WHO CAN GO ? Any person older than 6 years old in good health. 

WHAT SHOULD YOU TAKE ALONG ? Swimsuit or a pair of shorts for navigating, sneakers or strapped sandals with good soles, a baseball cap, and sun lotion. A  set of dry clothes to change for the return trip. 

PRICE per person (USD):

$ 110.00 for 4 persons or more,  $ 146.67 for 3 persons, $ 220.00 for 2 persons, $ 420.00 for 1 person.

If you book for 3 persons or less, and more people also book for same date you will be refunded a price difference based on total number of participants. 

When you book based on aboves tier pricing, a private trip is not guarantee. If interested in  a private trip  you can request it HERE.  The required minimum total price will correspond to at least 6 participants.

A party in a private trip do not share transportation or raft. However, visited atractions, or destinations will not be guarantee to be exclusive, and your party  might meet other visitors. 

Group leader will go free for a group of more than ten persons.

Duckies and kayaks are more demanding..... but so much fun also !.

When paddling small rafts and duckies  less experienced participants will be on the rafts, regardless of participants bonds, i.e. we might split a party procuring overall safety.

Usually the Boqueron Panama rafting season extends from mid July though mid November.
